On June 16th, General Contractor, Innovative Electrical Solutions, Inc. (IES), will begin the second phase of construction on the new Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) communications facility at the Grouse Peak South communications site in the Salmon-Challis National Forest, near Challis, Idaho.

During this second construction phase, IES plans to build the communication facility building and tower. The HVAC system will be installed in the building and Salmon River Electric Cooperative will bring electrical power from the existing junction box at the site to the facility.  Related systems may be installed as time allows. Construction is expected to end for the season in October.

The Salmon-Challis National Forest thanks BPA and IES for the outstanding communication and coordination with the agency and the local contractors.
