Forest Road 25 Remains Closed as Through-Route Due to Significant Slide

Due to a significant landslide and subsequent slope destabilization along a section of Forest Road 25 at milepost (MP) 26, the road remains closed as a through-route until further notice. 

Forest Road 99/Windy Ridge is currently only accessible via Forest Road 25 from Randle, WA.

Closure locations:

• Forest Road 25 is closed on the north end near Elk Pass at milepost 23 by the junction with Forest Road 2551. *Allows access to Boundary Tr. #1.
• Forest Road 25 is closed on the south end at milepost 27.25 about 15 miles north of the junction with Forest Road 93. Please note that a 10 mile stretch of road South of the closure has a lot of needles and small debris that can not be cleared at this time due to the fire risk from scraping the road. Drive with caution as some areas may be confined to a single lane.
